History
Hampton Downs Motorsport Park was conceived in the early 2000s and officially opened in 2010, representing a significant investment in New Zealand's motorsport infrastructure. The circuit was developed by motorsport enthusiasts Tony Roberts and Chris Watson, who envisioned creating a world-class facility to elevate New Zealand's racing profile internationally.
