Pittsburgh International Race Complex, often referred to as PittRace, is a premier motorsports facility located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, about 45 minutes northwest of Pittsburgh. This world-class racing venue spans over 427 acres and features multiple track configurations, making it one of the most versatile and challenging racing facilities in the northeastern United States. The complex caters to various motorsport disciplines, from high-performance driving experiences and competitive racing to motorcycle events and karting competitions.

Technical Specifications and Track Features

The heart of PittRace is its 2.8-mile Full Circuit, which combines the North Track (1.6 miles) and South Track (1.2 miles) into a challenging course with 19 turns and over 100 feet of elevation changes. The track's layout includes a combination of high-speed straights, technical corners, and elevation changes that test drivers' skills and vehicle performance. The main straight allows vehicles to reach impressive speeds before entering a series of challenging corners.

The track surface is composed of high-quality asphalt that provides excellent grip in various weather conditions. Each configuration features a unique set of challenges: the North Track is known for its flowing corners and moderate elevation changes, while the South Track presents more technical sections with tighter turns. Pittsburgh International Race Complex opened in 2002 (initially as BeaveRun Motorsports Complex) and has undergone significant expansion and improvement over the years. In 2011, the complex was renamed to Pittsburgh International Race Complex, reflecting its growing stature in the motorsports community.
