A sophisticated drainage system ensures safe racing conditions during rainfall.

History

Established in 1998, Achna Speedway began as a karting circuit before expanding to its current configuration. Designed by Japanese engineer Hiroki Furuse, the track has played a significant role in developing Cyprus's motorsport culture. Over the years, it has hosted numerous events, including drift, drag, and circuit racing. Notable milestones include the installation of LED floodlighting systems enabling night races and continuous upgrades to meet international racing standards. The venue serves as a crucial testing facility for European racing teams during winter months and actively promotes local motorsport talent through its racing academy programs.

The current all-time track record is 1:00.524, set by driver Christos Kingtony in a Radical Prosport on March 5, 2023. Source

Achna Speedway continues to be a central hub for motorsport enthusiasts in Cyprus, offering a platform for both professional and amateur drivers to hone their skills and participate in competitive events.
