Technical Specifications and Track Features
The Ascari Circuit boasts remarkable technical characteristics with its 5.425 km length winding through natural elevation changes of the Andalusian terrain. The 26 corners—13 left-hand and 13 right-hand turns—provide a perfectly balanced driving challenge. The track width varies between 10-12 meters, offering ample space for overtaking maneuvers while maintaining technical precision. Ascari incorporates replicas of famous corners from circuits worldwide, including sections reminiscent of Daytona, Silverstone, and Monaco. The circuit features multiple configurations, allowing for shorter layouts when needed. With minimal runoff areas and natural elevation changes of up to 40 meters, Ascari demands precision and rewards skillful driving. The main straight stretches approximately 600 meters, allowing vehicles to reach impressive speeds before challenging braking zones.

History
Established in 2000 by businessman Klaas Zwart, Ascari Race Resort was conceived as an exclusive driving paradise for enthusiasts and collectors. The circuit opened in 2002 after extensive development to transform the natural landscape into a world-class racing facility while preserving the surrounding environment. Named after Alberto Ascari, the first double Formula One World Champion (1952-1953), the facility honors racing heritage while embracing modern circuit design. Though primarily a private members' club, Ascari has hosted numerous exclusive automotive events, manufacturer testing programs, and private racing series throughout its history. The circuit has appeared in various automotive media, including television shows and video games, further cementing its reputation among global racing venues. Unlike many commercial circuits, Ascari's exclusivity and limited public access have helped preserve its pristine condition and prestigious reputation as one of Europe's most desirable driving destinations.
