History

Constructed in the early 1980s, Autodrom Most emerged from the ambitious project to revitalize the area affected by coal mining. The circuit hosted its first race in 1983 and quickly established itself as a significant venue in European motorsport. Throughout its history, the track has undergone several modernization phases, with major renovations in 2001, 2012, 2015, and 2021 upgrading safety features and facilities to meet current international standards.

The circuit has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the FIA European Truck Racing Championship, FIA WTCR, FIM Superbike World Championship, and ADAC GT Masters. In 2021, Autodrom Most marked a significant milestone by hosting its first WorldSBK event, further cementing its position in international motorsport. Today, it continues to serve as a vital facility for both professional racing and automotive industry testing, while also promoting road safety through its driving academy programs.
